Properties
VESTEROL® MS 55HSP is a 1-component, mineral filler for fast repair work. This polymer-modified mortar (PCC / RM) is particularly low-stress and its formulation and color make it particularly suitable for rapid concrete repair, as it replaces corrosion protection, bonding bridge and repair mortar.- corrosion-inhibiting

Substrate
Properties/tests
- The substrate must be clean, sound and free of adhesion-reducing components such as dust, oil or sanding particles.
- The adhesive tensile strength of the substrate should be at least 1.5 N/mm².
- The substrate may be matt damp.
Pretreatment
- Pre-wet dry substrates. Prime sanding substrates with Vesterol TG 10D.
- Remove rust from exposed reinforcement up to cleanliness grade SA 2 ½.
Processing
Mixing / Preparation / Processing
- Place water in a clean mixing vessel.
- Add VESTEROL MS 55HSP and mix with a machine mixer at approx. 400 rpm until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Mixing time 2 – 3 minutes.
Processing
- The material is applied with standard application tools, such as a spatula or steel trowel, to a dry or matt damp substrate within the working time of approx. 45 minutes.
- To achieve optimum adhesion to the substrate, VESTEROL MS 55HSP is worked into the substrate as a scratch coat using a trowel and sufficient pressure. Alternatively, VESTEROL MS 55HSP can be mixed into a spreadable bonding slurry and applied intensively with a brush or trowel. For slurry consistency: stir approx. 0.2 l water (2 %) into the ready-mixed sealing slurry. The desired layer is then built up.
Cleaning the tools
- Clean all tools and equipment with water immediately after use.
- Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
Notes
- Maintain a processing temperature of +5 °C to +30 °C.

- Protect fresh material from drying out too quickly and unfavorable weather conditions. Avoid draughts and direct sunlight.
- Do not dilute setting material with water or mix with fresh mortar.
- Observe a mixing time of at least 2 minutes.
