• The substrate must be firm, load-bearing and free of frost and cavities.

Processing

• Laying a horizontal barrier using the drill hole method:
  Drill holes: Borehole diameter 18 mm; inclination 25°; height offset 10 cm; borehole spacing 12 cm
  The boreholes can be drilled in one or two rows, depending on the condition of the masonry and the degree of moisture penetration. For saturation moisture levels above 75 %, the horizontal barrier must be installed in two rows. If possible, cross a bed joint.
• Blow out drill holes.
• Fill larger cavities with INTRASIT BLS 54TR and re-drill after 1 to 2 days.
• Dilute INTRASIT MEK 18OS with water at a ratio of 1 : 10 for high moisture penetration and up to 1 : 14 for low moisture penetration.
• Impregnation is carried out alternately fresh in fresh. For unpressurized injection, allow at least 8 hours impregnation time. Use a borehole barrier reservoir.
• Alternatively, the material can be injected under low pressure (up to a maximum of 10 bar).

Cleaning the tools

• Clean tools immediately after use with water.

Notes

• Observe WTA data sheets, in particular WTA data sheet 4-10 "Injection procedure with certified injection materials against capillary moisture transport".
• Only mix as much emulsion as will be processed in one working day.
• Document material consumption.
