Properties
IMBERAL Aquarol 10D is a red-colored primer with a chemical and physical mode of action, specially adapted to the high requirements of modern waterproofing technology. Binds adhering dust (abrasion, cement and quartz dust) to the mineral building material surface. Strengthens building material surfaces through silicate bonding and forms a stable base for subsequent waterproofing. Reduces the absorbency of the substrate by hydrophobizing the surface zone and reduces the risk of water running behind the waterproofing.- water-repellent

Properties/tests
- The substrate must be absorbent, firm, load-bearing and free of loose particles.
- The substrate may be slightly damp.
Pretreatment
- Thoroughly clean the sole protrusions. Completely remove sintered layers and soiling.
Processing
Processing
- Apply the product to the substrate by brushing, rolling or spraying.
- On very dusty surfaces, we recommend applying the product with a brush or broom to ensure that the dust is well absorbed.
- The thick-layer sealant can be applied as soon as the primer has dried to a matt finish. Longer drying times have no detrimental effect on adhesion.
Cleaning the tools
- Clean tools immediately after use with water.
Notes
- INTRASIT Aquarol 10A white should be used when reworking the primer with visible coatings.
- Protect adjacent components from splashes and spray mist.
