Properties/tests

• The substrate must be dry, load-bearing, clean, dust-free and free of adhesion-reducing residues, release agents, efflorescence and sintered coatings.
• There is a risk of condensation forming on the substrate surface in the event of significant temperature changes in conjunction with increased humidity. The substrate must be completely dry before starting the coating work. Otherwise, coating damp surfaces may result in peeling or irritation of the material surface.

• The product is ready to use and only needs to be stirred briefly before use.

Processing

• HADALAN Topcoat G 32P is applied to the substrate in a thin layer using a short pile roller. The specified consumption quantities must be observed. Excessive application quantities can lead to irritation or cracking of the material. Accordingly, care must be taken to ensure that material does not accumulate in depressions and hollows on uneven substrates.
• To achieve slip-resistant surfaces, add approx. 5 % by weight of HADALAN KG 57DD (250 g are sufficient for 2 x 2.5 kg coating) to the material, mix well and apply evenly to the substrate in a crosswise motion.
• After use, immediately close any remaining containers tightly to prevent a reaction with air humidity.

Drying / Hardening

• HADALAN^® Topcoat G 32P must be protected from moisture and mechanical influences until it has completely hardened.
• The surfaces can be carefully walked on the next day. Fully loadable after approx. 5 days.

Subsequent coating / Suitability for coating

• To achieve slip-resistant surfaces, add approx. 5 % by weight of HADALAN KG 57DD (250 g are sufficient for 2 x 2.5 kg coating) to the material, mix well and apply evenly to the substrate in a crosswise motion.

Cleaning the tools

• Clean tools immediately after use with HADALAN EPV 38L.
• Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

Notes

• Maintain a processing temperature of +8 °C to +30 °C.
• The substrate temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point temperature during application and curing.
• The product is moisture-reactive. The material must therefore be protected from moisture until it has completely hardened. The substrate to be coated must be dry.
• High temperatures accelerate, low temperatures delay the solidification and curing process.
• The application distances for multi-layer coatings must be observed.
• Observe the consumption specifications. Increased layer thicknesses or puddle formation can lead to detachment or irritation of the coating surface.
• HADALAN Topcoat G 32P is not suitable as a topcoat for elastic coating systems due to its high hardness.
• For coatings that are not part of the hahne system products, we recommend carrying out a preliminary test to check the adhesion properties.
• To maintain the surface quality of the coating, the use of care products and regular cleaning of the floors is recommended (see HADALAN epoxy resin flooring care instructions).
