Features

Properties

HADALAN® PZG 9ZH is an alkali-resistant and multiaxial glass fiber fabric for the renovation of old and no longer load-bearing substrates. For bridging cracks in concrete floors and cement screeds, for crack widths < 1 mm. Saves the expensive disposal of old floors and the time-consuming crack repair of smaller settlement and shrinkage cracks. In combination with HADALAN® EBG 13E and HADALAN® EG145 13E as well as the special filler combination HADALAN® FGM003 57M, fast and high-strength industrial floor renovations can be carried out.

  • alkali resistant
  • self-adhesive
  • can be cut with hook knife
  • easy to process
  • low tension
  • Layer thickness from 3 mm
  • high crack bridging
  • high flexibility
  • high strength
  • early load-bearing
  • cost-efficient and time-saving

Applications

  • on substrates with adhesive tension > 0.5 N/mm²
  • Renovation of industrial floors with cracks < 1 mm
  • Parking garage renovation
  • Garage and basement floor renovation
  • on wooden substrates
  • on lightweight concrete and other critical substrates
  • Renovation of old floor coverings and coatings

Composition

  • Glass fabric
  • Acrylate

Processing

Substrate

Pretreatment

  • The substrate to be renovated must be cleaned. All grease, old adhesive residue and other separating dirt must be removed. The surface must then be thoroughly vacuumed. The installation of edge insulation strips (10 mm) is mandatory. Cracks larger than 1 mm must be force-fitted. Holes, break-outs and defects must be closed in advance.
  • Depending on the substrate, we recommend restoration with HADALAN EBG 13E and HADALAN FGM003 57M or a mixture with HADALAN FGM012 57M.
  • Prime the surface with HADALAN EBG 13E (diffusion-open) or HADALAN EG145 13E (diffusion-tight). Highly absorbent substrates or substrates that need to be protected against rising damp should be primed twice. Once the surface is ready for foot traffic, HADALAN PZG 9ZH is laid on the surface and cut to size.

Processing

Processing

  • Apply HADALAN PZG 9ZH to the prepared and primed substrate and cut to size. Overlap joints by approx. 5 cm. The fresh primer serves as an adhesive layer, the subsequent coating is applied into the fresh primer onto the fabric.
  • Processing with the binder HADALAN EBG 13E (diffusion-open solution):
HADALAN EBG 13E is mixed with HADALAN FGM003 57M to form a leveling compound. We recommend a mixing ratio of 8.5 kg HADALAN EBG 13E with 20 kg HADALAN FGM003 57M. To improve the leveling, 0.5 l of water can be added to the mixture.
The floor leveling compound is now spread evenly with the special toothed strip and deaerated with a spiked roller. The drying time is at least 4 hours, depending on site conditions. After this, further construction can take place. Marking / show-through of the fabric cannot be ruled out, depending on site conditions. If a uniformly homogeneous layer is to be created, an intermediate sanding or a further leveling coat is applied as specified above. Spreading distances do not play a role with HADALAN EBG 13E.
  • Processing with the binder HADALAN EG145 13E (high load/vapor-tight design)
HADALAN EG145 13E is mixed with HADALAN FGM003 57M to form a leveling compound. We recommend a mixing ratio of 8.7 kg HADALAN EG145 13E with 20 kg HADALAN FGM003 57M.
The floor leveling compound is now applied evenly in a maximum layer thickness of 3 mm. The drying time is at least 4 h, depending on site conditions. After this, a coat of HADALAN VS 12E, HADALAN VS-E 12E, HADALAN MBH 12E or another coating can be applied, for example. Depending on site conditions, the fabric may show through. If a uniformly homogeneous layer is to be produced, intermediate sanding or a further flow coating is applied as specified above. Sanding of the coating compound must also be carried out if the coating distances cannot be maintained. See also the relevant data sheets.
