Substrate

Properties/tests

• The substrate must be stable, surface-dry and free of dirt, dust, cleaning agent residues or other separating substances.
• There is a risk of condensation forming on the substrate surface in the event of significant temperature changes in conjunction with increased humidity. The substrate must be completely dry before starting the coating work. Otherwise, coating damp surfaces may result in peeling or irritation of the material surface.

Pretreatment

• If HADALAN PUR Top 32P is used as a sealer in the HADALAN PUR Balcony Protection System, the respective application distances must be observed.

• Stir product well before use.

Processing

• HADALAN PUR Top 32P is applied to the substrate in a thin layer using a mohair roller. The specified consumption quantities must be observed. Excessive application quantities can lead to the formation of bubbles in the coating.
• After use, immediately close any remaining containers tightly to prevent a reaction with air humidity.

Drying / Hardening

• The surfaces can be carefully walked on the next day. Fully loadable after approx. 7 days.

Cleaning the tools

• Clean tools immediately after use with HADALAN EPV 38L.
• Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

Notes

• Maintain a processing temperature of +8 °C to +30 °C.
• The product is moisture-reactive. The material must therefore be protected from moisture until it has completely hardened. The substrate to be coated must be dry.
• High temperatures accelerate, low temperatures delay the solidification and curing process.
• Observe application distances. Spacing too far apart can lead to reduced adhesion and thus to peeling. Use HADALAN HV Uni 30DD.
• Observe the consumption specifications. Increased layer thicknesses or puddle formation can lead to detachment or irritation of the coating surface.
• Be careful with rust, copper or even flowers and leaves. These can release substances or dyes that can irreparably discolor the coating. Copper gutters can be sealed transparently for protection. Soiling from flowers and leaves should be removed regularly.
• To improve slip resistance, especially on surfaces exposed to water, we recommend incorporating HADALAN GP 57DD (see technical data sheet).
