Properties/tests

• The substrate must be dry, load-bearing, clean, dust-free and free of adhesion-reducing residues, release agents, efflorescence and sintered coatings.
• The adhesive tensile strength of the substrate must be at least 1.5 N/mm².
• The compressive strength of the substrate should be at least 25 N/mm².
• The substrate moisture content for cementitious substrates must be < 4.0 CM%, anhydrite screeds: < 0.5 CM%.
• Bitumen-bound substrates (e.g. mastic asphalt) are difficult substrates due to their deformability under mechanical and thermal stress. These must be of ICH 10 to ICH 15 quality.

Pretreatment

• The substrate must be prepared in accordance with the BEB data sheets (e.g. by shot blasting, diamond grinding, milling or other suitable measures).
• Before applying the coating, the substrate must be prepared to seal the pores.

• Suitable system primers must be used for this purpose (e.g. HADALAN Pripor 12E)

• In the case of existing roughness depths, carry out scratch filling or roughness depth compensation.

Processing

Processing

• Processing as a flow coating:
  1. The hardener component is completely added to the resin component. The components are mixed homogeneously using a slow-speed stirring tool (approx. 400 rpm) with a stirring paddle. The mixing time is at least 2 minutes. The material is then transferred to a clean mixing vessel, the filler mixture HADALAN FGM003 57M (white) is added and mixed again.
  2. Spread HADALAN PUR Floor-E 13P quickly over the substrate with a suitable tool (hahne toothed strip special) in an even layer of 2.0 mm.
  3. After approx. 10 minutes, deaerate the surface with a suitable tool (e.g. hahne spiked roller) in a crosswise motion by rolling slowly and without pressure.
• Processing as a textured coating:
  1. The hardener component is added completely to the resin component. The components are mixed homogeneously using a slow-speed stirring tool (approx. 400 rpm) with a stirring paddle. The mixing time is at least 2 minutes. The material is then transferred to a clean mixing vessel, the filler mixture HADALAN FGM003 57M (white) is added and mixed thoroughly. Now add the setting agent HADALAN TX 57DD and mix again.
  2. Spread HADALAN PUR Floor-E 13P quickly over the substrate with a suitable tool (e.g. TBP S6) in an even layer of approx. 1.3 mm.
  3. After approx. 10 minutes, texture the surface with a suitable tool (e.g. texture/pebble roller) by rolling slowly and without pressure. For larger areas, ensure that structuring is not started too late. Another person may be required here so that the texturing of the surface can begin while the flow coating is being applied.

Cleaning the tools

• Clean tools immediately after use with HADALAN EPV 38L.
• Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

Notes

• The product is moisture-reactive. The material must therefore be protected from moisture until it has completely hardened. The substrate to be coated must be dry.
• High temperatures accelerate, low temperatures delay the solidification and curing process.
• Observe the coating distances.
• The substrate temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point temperature during application and curing.
• Changes in color/yellowing are possible under UV and weathering influences and do not represent any impairment.
• Pour the material out of the container immediately after mixing.
• Only use materials from one batch.
• Color deviations on contiguous surfaces do not constitute a defect.
• With coating systems that can be applied by hand traces of application may remain visible This applies in particular to grazing light or larger contiguous areas, create a sample area if necessary.
