Properties/tests

• The substrate must be dry, load-bearing, clean, dust-free and free of adhesion-reducing residues, release agents, efflorescence and sintered coatings.

Pretreatment

• To improve adhesion and workability, Quartz051 57M is sprinkled into a previously applied layer of HADALAN EBG 13E in interior areas.
• In exterior areas, Quartz051 57M is sprinkled into a previously applied adhesive layer. Depending on the method used, this can consist of HADALAN EG145 13E or HADALAN PUR Top 32P.
• After curing, the layer is applied.

Processing

• Apply the adhesive layer of HADALAN NSK 20D using a roller or brush.
• Add HADALAN NSK 20D to the HADALAN natural stones and mix homogeneously (mixing ratio 1 GT binder : 8 GT natural stones)
• Apply the filler mixture to the still fresh adhesive layer to a maximum thickness of 6 mm. Then compact and level.
• Only apply as much adhesive as can be covered with HADALAN MST 89M before the skin starts to form.

Drying / Hardening

• The leveled surface must be protected from damaging effects such as rain, frost, splashing water and mechanical stress until it is completely dry.

Cleaning the tools

• Clean all tools and equipment with water immediately after use.

Notes

• Only apply as much adhesive as can be covered with HADALAN MST 89M before the skin starts to form.
• Maintain a processing temperature of +10 °C to +35 °C.
• Limit the layer thickness of the natural stone fillers in the vertical area to max. 6 mm.
• High humidity and/or low ambient temperatures can lead to considerable drying delays.
• Not suitable for horizontal surfaces.
• Moisture penetration from the rear must be avoided to prevent white tarnishing
• Protect the leveled surface from damaging effects such as rain, frost, splashing water and mechanical stress until it is completely dry.
• Natural stone fillers with solvent-free binders differ in color reproduction from fillers with pure PUR binders. This is particularly noticeable with the color green. Carry out preliminary tests if necessary.
• Do not use different natural stone binders on a visually cohesive surface.
• In the case of larger wall fillings, greater effort is required to level the surface. Carry out a preliminary test if necessary.
• When used outdoors or in wet indoor areas, the binder may tarnish white. The darker a surface is, the more visible the effect can be. After a few wet/dry periods, the tendency to whitening is significantly reduced. HADALAN NSK 20D is not suitable for use in permanently wet areas, e.g. showers, swimming pools or horizontal surfaces and non-drained connection areas.
