Pretreatment

• The substrate must be prepared in accordance with the specifications of the respective coating system. The substrate must be made load-bearing. Level out any major unevenness in advance

• If necessary, shorten the profile to the required length using standard cutting equipment. We recommend a cross-cut or miter saw.

• The profiles are bonded to the substrate with HADALAN FC240 22S. In industrial floor areas and for floor-side force-fit bonding, the cove profile is bonded to the floor with reaction resin e.g. HADALAN MBH 12E with the addition of HADALAN SM 57DD setting agent and attached to the wall with HADALAN FC240 22S. Form inner and outer corners with profile corners.

• Butt joints should be executed with a 2 mm gap. The connection between profiles and/or corners is also made using HADALAN FC240 22S, or with reaction resin and setting agent. Make transitions flat and even.
• To prevent the coating from running under the profiles, any unevenness must be filled with e.g. reaction resin and filler before coating work.
• The rest of the system is installed after the adhesive has cured.
• The cove profile must be prepared with the primer contained in the coating system. In the case of direct coating with liquid plastics, prepare the profile with HADALAN HV Uni 12E. For other systems, carry out preliminary tests.

Notes

• Always use the profiles with clean gloves to avoid soiling.
