Features
Properties
HADALAN® FGM003 57M is a special combination of raw materials with a high packing density (grain size 0 – 0.3 mm). This combination enables good flow properties and high mechanical load-bearing capacity in conjunction with matching epoxy resins.- easy to mix in
- enables good flow behavior
- high mechanical load-bearing capacity
- low binder requirement
- low dust
Applications
- Concrete and screed surfaces
- Industrial floors
- Balconies, terraces, arcades
Composition
- Mineral fillers
- Additives
Processing
Substrate
Properties/tests
- The substrate must be firm, stable, free of frost, dust, dirt and other loose particles.
- The residual moisture content depends on the resin system used.
Processing
Mixing / Preparation / Processing
- Processing with HADALAN EBG 13E:
For the production of water vapor permeable levelling compounds, HADALAN FGM003 57M is added to the mixed HADALAN EBG 13E in the following mixing ratios and homogeneously mixed in:
Scratch filler for layer thicknesses of 1 – 3 mm: 8.5 kg binder + 20 kg FGM003 57M
Leveling compound for layer thicknesses of 3 – 8 mm: 8.5 kg binder + 40 kg FGM003 57M
Self-compacting filling compound: 8.5 kg binder + 60 kg FGM003 57M
The viscosity of the compounds can be adjusted depending on the temperature and substrate by adding a maximum of 5 % water to HADALAN EBG 13E. - Processing with HADALAN EPUni 12E or HADALAN EG145 13E
Stir the material, repot and stir again briefly. Then add HADALAN FGM003 57M in the desired mixing ratio. Reference values:
MV 1 : 1 to 1 : 2 GT for the production of pore-closing primers
MV 1 : 3 GT for roughness depth compensation up to 2 mm
MV 1 : 4 GT for roughness depth compensation up to 5 mm
MV 1 : 5 GT for roughness depth compensation > 5 mm
Processing
- The compounds can be applied and spread using a roller (only for mixing ratios 1 : 1 to 1 : 2), rubber squeegee or trowel.
For mixing ratios > 1 : 3, priming must be carried out with the epoxy resin used in an unfilled setting. - Epoxy resins react exothermically. The mixed compounds should therefore be processed quickly. The processing time depends on the respective mixing ratio and the ambient temperatures. Depending on the conditions, a working time of 20 to 45 minutes is available.
- The leveling compound is poured evenly onto the substrate and ideally spread using the 56 cm squeegee and the toothed strip. After 10 to 15 minutes, the compound is deaerated with a spiked roller.
Processing / Working time
- Depending on conditions, the working time is 20 to 45 minutes.
Cleaning the tools
- Clean tools immediately after use with HADALAN EPV 38L.
- Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
Notes
- Epoxy resins react exothermically. High temperatures accelerate, low temperatures delay the setting process.
- HADALAN EG145 13E should be used if moisture penetration from the rear is to be ruled out.
- The substrate temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point temperature during application and curing.
- The maximum filling level and the curing times depend on the layer thickness and the epoxy resin used.
- Optically related areas must be prepared with material from the same production batch to prevent colour differences.
