HADALAN® FC240 22S is a 1-component, stable joint sealant and adhesive. Once fully cured, the material is permanently elastic, can be reworked and has good chemical resistance.- solvent-free

Properties/tests
- The joints must be dry and free of dirt, dust, oil and other substances that reduce adhesion.
Pretreatment
- If necessary, the joints should be cleaned by milling or sandblasting. The joints are then blown out with oil-free compressed air or vacuumed with a vacuum cleaner.
- For consolidation and adhesion, the joint edges of absorbent building materials are primed with HADALAN® HV Uni 30DD.
- After allowing the primer to flash off for 30 minutes, the joint sealant can be applied.
- The adhesion of the joint sealant to the joint base must be prevented by using separating films or backfill material (closed-cell foam cord).
- When used as a fixing or bonding paste, priming is not required for smooth, non-absorbent substrates.
Processing
Processing
- The material can be applied directly from the cartridge using a hand lever press.
- Smoothing can be carried out before the start of skin formation using a trowel or finger soaked in water.
- Remove excess material immediately.
- Soiled surfaces can be cleaned when fresh with HADALAN® EPV 38L.
Drying / Hardening
- Protect the applied material from moisture for at least 6 hours.
Notes
- Maintain a processing temperature of +5 °C to +35 °C.
- Carry out preliminary tests for bonding work.
