Properties/tests

• The substrate must be stable, surface-dry and free of dirt, dust, cleaning agent residues or other separating substances.
• There is a risk of condensation forming on the substrate surface in the event of significant temperature changes in conjunction with increased humidity. The substrate must be completely dry before starting the coating work. Otherwise, coating damp surfaces may result in peeling or irritation of the material surface.

Processing

• Scatter coating: Apply HADALAN PUR Top 32P transparent as an adhesive layer. Spread HADALAN DQ0712 89M in excess directly into the fresh adhesive layer. Ensure complete coverage. The next day, sweep off or vacuum off any unabsorbed quartz. Finally, apply HADALAN PUR Top 32P transparent using a mohair roller.
• Filler coats: Pre-coat HADALAN PUR Top 32P transparently. Lightly sprinkle oven-dried Quartz051 57M into the still fresh layer. This layer must dry and ensures sufficient grip for the subsequent filling. Add HADALAN DQ0712 89M 6% HADALAN LF68 12P and mix intensively with a slow-running drill. Then pour into a clean container and stir again briefly. Pre-spread the mixture in strips with a smoothing trowel and then compact with a trowel.

• Optically related areas must be prepared with material from the same production batch to prevent colour differences.
