Substrate

Suitable substrates

• Concrete, masonry, plaster
• Fiber cement panels
• Granite
• PVC window components, bitumen (PMBC)
• Wood, covered with roofing membrane
• IMBERAL DAB LF 10S, IMBERAL DAB 30P

Properties/tests

• The substrate must be stable, surface-dry and free of dirt, dust, cleaning agent residues or other separating substances.
• There is a risk of condensation forming on the substrate surface in the event of significant temperature changes in conjunction with increased humidity. The substrate must be completely dry before starting the coating work. Otherwise, coating damp surfaces may result in peeling or irritation of the material surface.

Pretreatment

• Clean the substrates and, if necessary, roughen them mechanically to ensure they are sound. Remove dust and loose particles.

Processing

• The product is ready to use.

Processing

• Follow the recommended application rates.
• Apply a thin, even coat using a lint-free cloth; for large surfaces, a roller may be used. Wipe off any excess immediately.

Drying / Hardening

• After about 20 minutes, or 6 hours at the latest, the surface can be recoated with IMBERAL DAB LF 10S. Waiting times depend on temperature and humidity.

Cleaning the tools

• Clean all tools and equipment with water immediately after use.

Notes

• Maintain a processing temperature of +5 °C to +30 °C.
• The substrate to be coated must be surface dry.
• The application distances for multi-layer coatings must be observed.
• Comply with consumption specifications.
• The relative humidity must not exceed 80%. The substrate temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point temperature.
